What Is The Blessing Of The Animals In Islam?

Blessing Of The Animals are countless and as we know, animals are a beautiful creation of Allah (ﷻ), which is mentioned in the Holy Quran that they are made to help humans. According to the law of nature, these animals are speechless, but they also have feelings and thoughts, based on which they live their lives, and they have a very deep relationship with humans.

From the point of view of Islam, our beloved Prophet (ﷺ) commanded us to treat animals with compassion and he not only used to ride his favorite animal but also used it in trade.

God’s creatures obey His will because they directly obey His orders to achieve their purpose in this world. Birds fly by Allah’s command. Bees grow as told, beast animals are also working for the benefit of humans in this world by the orders of Allah (ﷻ).

The Blessed Animals

Here is a list of some blessed animals in Islam. Each animal will be discussed in detail.

1. Buraaq

It is an animal with long shiny wings and is bigger than a donkey and smaller than a mule. Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) rode the Buraaq on the night of Al-Israa and that night was of Ascension.

2. The She-camel of Saalih

Some people that lived in the area of Prophet Saalih (AS), denied the truth of Hazrat Saalih (AS), and the she-camel of the Prophet was hamstrung by those people. Allah (ﷻ) then sent that she-camel to tell the people to water that animal on the days when the water was in exclusive quantity on alternate days.

3. The Donkey of Prophet Uzayr (AS)

The donkey of Prophet Uzayr (AS) was caused to die for at least one hundred years then he was made alive by Allah (ﷻ) and Prophet Uzayr (AS) found it next to him as it was alive before.

4. The Calf of Ibraaheem (AS)

The fourth one is the calf of Prophet Ibraaheem (AS), may Allah (ﷻ) exalt his mention, which he slaughtered for the guests who were angels and have come from Jannah.

5. The Ram

As Prophet Ismaaeel (AS) was going to be slaughtered by his father Prophet Ibraaheem (AS), Allah (ﷻ) ransomed him with the ram according to the vision seen by his father. So, ram comes to the number 5.

6. The hoopoe

Then comes the Hoopoe that was assigned to bring news for Prophet Sulaymaan (Solomon) (AS), about Bilqees (the Queen of Sheba).

7. The Blessed Ant

The ant as related in Quran said (what means): { O ants! if you don’t want to be crushed by Solomon and his army, enter your dwellings, while they perceive. Enter your dwellings, while they perceive not.} ( Quran 27:18)

8. The Blessed Dog

The dog of the people of the Cave is also mentioned in the Quran.

9. The Fish

The fish that is known for swallowing Prophet Yonas ( Jonah) (AS) comes at number 9.

10. The Cow

Last but not least comes the cow of the Children of Israel which pointed to that killer when some parts of the slain man were hit.
