Ibn Abi Hatim (رضي الله عنه) recorded that Sa`id bin Jubayr (رضي الله عنه) said;
Ibn Abi Hatim (رضي الله عنه) recorded that Sa`id bin Jubayr (رضي الله عنه) said;
“When the people of hell are hungry, they will beg for food from the tree of Zaqqum. They will eat it and the skin on their faces will fly off and whoever passes by will recognize it by their mouth. Then, because they are thirsty, they will ask for something to drink and give them boiling oil like water to keep it warm until the end.

When they bring it to their mouths, the meat in their mouths will be cooked by the heat, their skin will be stripped off and whatever is in their stomachs will melt. When they walk in the Spirit, they will be stripped of their skin and beaten with iron rods. Then every part of their body will cry.”
